Youngest
Mother
Lina Medina was born on September 27, 1933 in Ticrapo, an Andean village in South America. Medina got pregnant
when she was 4 years 10 months old. According to her family, she
started her period at 2 1/2 and had fully mature sexual organs at the
time of her pregnancy. Medina gave birth to Gerardo on Mother's Day,
May 14, 1939. Dr Lozada Busalleu and Colretta (anesthesiologist)
performed a Caesarian section at a hospital in Pisco, Peru. At first
Medina's father thought his daughter had a stomach tumor when he
brought her to a hospital where it was confirmed that she was pregnant.
One month later she gave birth. Her father was arrested on suspicion of
incest, but later released due to a lack of evidence. To this day, it
is not known who the father is. Medina does not like to talk about it
and prefers that information stay in the past. Although Medina was
physically mature, she still acted her age and preferred to play with
dolls rather than her own baby. A wet nurse fed Gerardo. Gerardo found
out at the age of 10 that who he thought was his sister was actually
his mother. Gerardo died in
1979 at the age of 40 from a disease of his bone marrow. |
